DAY 1 – MONDAY, OCTOBER 4 - Pigeon Forge, TN – We depart this morning for Pigeon Forge. We will make a lunch stop at the Galleria Mall in Birmingham. Following lunch we board our coach to continue on our way to Pigeon Forge. On arrival we check in our hotel and have a short time to freshen up before departing for the Smith Family Dinner Theatre for a wonderful meal and show. We return to the hotel following the show.(D)

DAY 2 – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5 - Washington, DC – Following breakfast this morning we check out of our hotel and board our motorcoach for Washington. As we travel today we will make appropriate rest stops and our lunch stop before arriving at our hotel and checking in for the next four nights. After checking in we will get settled in our room before departing for dinner on our own. Before returning to our hotel we will be joined by our step-on-guide to direct us on our Illumination Tour of Washington to view the monuments and memorials – such as the Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and the FDR Memorial. After our tour we will return to our hotel for the evening. (B)

DAY 3 – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6 - Washington – We enjoy breakfast this morning before boarding our coach for a special visit to the United States Capitol. On arrival we will enjoy a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol Building. Following our visit here we will next visit the beautiful National Cathedral with a guided tour. Departing the National Cathedral we will board our motorcoach and travel to Arlington National Cemetery. We will board the tram for a tour of the Cemetery. This evening we will enjoy dinner at Phillip’s Restaurant on the Potomac. After an enjoyable meal we will return to the hotel for the evening. (D)

DAY 4 – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7 - Quantico, VA – Mt. Vernon – This morning following breakfast we board our motorcoach for a short drive to Quantico to visit the new National Marine Museum. It is considered equal to the quality of the Smithsonian Museums. After a guided tour of the museum we will have lunch on our own at the Museum Café before we board our coach for a visit to George and Martha Washington’s home, Mt. Vernon. After a visit here we board our coach back to Washington. We will stop for dinner before returning to our hotel for the evening. (D)

DAY 5 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8 - Washington – Following breakfast this morning we will board our motorcoach to the area of the Smithsonian Museums where you can visit at your leisure many of the museums such as the National Air & Space Museum, the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of American History, the National Art Gallery, and others. You will find available places to have lunch on your own at the many museums. After lunch we will board our coach for an afternoon of guided sightseeing of the city. After a full day we will return to our hotel for the evening.

DAY 6 – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 - Charlotte, NC – Greenville, SC – After breakfast we check out of our hotel and board our motorcoach for Charlotte. We will stop here for a visit to the new Billy Graham Museum. After a short visit here we will continue on to Greenville where we have reservations for the evening.

DAY 7 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10 - Home – This morning we enjoy our breakfast before checking out of our hotel. We board our motorcoach and travel through the Atlanta area, Chattanooga, Birmingham, and home. As we travel we will make appropriate rest stops and a lunch stop as well. (B)
