Home & Garden Christmas Magic in Mobile

DAY 1 – Thursday, December 2 – Foley, Alabama – Mobile, Alabama - We depart early this morning for Foley. Traveling today we make a rest stop along the way. On arrival at the Tanger Outlet Mall we will have time to have lunch on our own and enjoy some Christmas shopping time before boarding our coach for Mobile. On arrival in Mobile we check in our hotel. There will be time for some relaxation before departing for Bellingrath Gardens and their “Magic Christmas In Lights”. On arrival at Bellingrath we will have dinner before enjoying our tour of the Home and Gardens. You will stroll through over 3 million sparkling lights and hundreds of displays and poinsettias throughout the Garden Estate. The Home, of course, will be decorated in its holiday finery. On the South Terrace of the Home the evening will be made special with local choral performances. You might even find the perfect holiday gift for someone in the magnificently stocked gift shop. Following our visit here we will return to our hotel for the evening.(D)

DAY 2 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3 – HOME – This morning you have time to enjoy your breakfast at leisure before checking out of the hotel. After boarding our motorcoach we will visit the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion all decorated for Christmas. The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion is one of the most photographed buildings in Mobile. The Mansion’s massive double parlors, circular staircase, and rooms built on a grand scale will remind you of a time when hospitality was a way of life. Following our tour we board our motorcoach for home. Along the way we will make a lunch stop and an appropriate rest stop as we continue our travel home. (B)
