DAY 1 - SUNDAY, JULY 18 - Flight to San Francisco, CA - We’ll begin our exciting adventure to the West Coast this morning with a flight from Jackson, MS, to San Francisco, CA. Upon arrival in San Francisco, our luxury motorcoach will be waiting at the airport for our transfer. We’ll make a stop for lunch en route to our hotel - The Tuscan Inn which has been noted in Conde Naste Magazine as “one of the world’s best places to stay”. Located at famous Fisherman’s Wharf we are certain to be comfortable during our three night stay! This evening at 7:00PM we enjoy a welcome dinner together at The Franciscan Restaurant overlooking Fisherman’s Wharf. (D)

DAY 2 - MONDAY, JULY 19 - San Francisco - Sausalito - Our local guide will call for us at the hotel to begin a morning sightseeing tour of beautiful San Francisco. We depart at 9:00AM to see the sights, hear the sounds, smell the aromas of this great city! See Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Alamo Square, Twin Peaks, North Beach, Nob Hill and Golden Gate Park. We’ll cross the Golden Gate Bridge and on to Sausalito for a delightful lunch (included) at Spinnaker’s Restaurant with great views of the Bay. Following lunch there is time to enjoy the village’s Mediterranean-style shops, galleries and breathtaking views. We’ll catch the 3:00PM Ferry for an afternoon cruise back across San Francisco Bay. Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure to explore or relax on your own. (L)

DAY 3 – TUESDAY, JULY 20 - San Francisco - Monterey/Carmel - Another beautiful day on the sunny West Coast! Enjoy today free to explore San Francisco on your own, or join the group for an adventure - we’ll enjoy a scenic drive to Monterey and make the spectacular 17-Mile Drive to Carmel. We depart the hotel at 8:30AM this morning, and our local guide will direct sightseeing during this incredible trek. There will be time for shopping and lunch at Monterey’s Cannery Row. We’ll also have time for shopping in Carmel. An afternoon drive back to San Francisco should have us returning to the hotel by 6:30PM. The evening is at your leisure.

DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY, JULY 21 - Napa Valley Wine Country - Depart San Francisco this morning at 9:00AM and make our way into the breathtaking Napa Valley of Sonoma County. We’ll make a stop at Ravenswood Winery for a 11:00AM fascinating Wine Blending Seminar where you will have the opportunity to create your own bottle of wine to take home. There is time for lunch on your own at Sonoma Square. Departing Sonoma we board our motorcoach for Domaine Carneros Winery. This winery, housed in a chateau style facility with spectacular views, is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful wineries in North America. You will enjoy an exciting and educational tour that will take you into the historic process of creating fine Sparkling Wine. After the tour you will enjoy a tasting of Sparkling Wines. Departing the winery we board our motorcoach for our hotel. We check in our lovely Napa Valley hotel by late afternoon for the next two nights. The evening is at your leisure to enjoy Napa and perhaps sample one of the area restaurants for dinner on your own.

DAY 5 - THURSDAY, JULY 22 - Napa Valley - The Wine Train - Enjoy a full breakfast included at the hotel this morning. A fantastic day is in store as we board the famous Wine Train for a relaxing journey through the lush Napa Valley. We’ll have special reserved Dome Car seating and enjoy a wonderful four-course meal complete with champagne! Depart the hotel at 10:00AM for transfer to the Wine Train. We’ll check in upon arrival and enjoy a Wine Symposium at 10:45AM before boarding the train. Our train is due to return at 2:30PM. We will return to our hotel at this time. Later this afternoon, our motorcoach will transfer the travellers that would like to go to the town of Calistoga for some browsing and shopping in many of the quaint shops here. We will make reservations at a wonderful restaurant for dinner on your own if you like. (B)(L)

DAY 6 - FRIDAY, JULY 23 - Lake Tahoe - Reno - Full breakfast is included at the hotel before we depart at 9:45AM for a beautiful morning drive through the Napa Valley to Sacramento. Continue eastward to South Lake Tahoe for a 2:00PM afternoon scenic cruise on the crystal clear waters of one of the most pristine lakes in the world. After our Lake Tahoe cruise, we’ll make the short drive over to Reno arriving by 5:30PM and claim our reservations for the next two nights at the famous Peppermill Resort. The evening is at leisure to explore Reno. Take in a show, or try your hand in the casinos, or just walk the “strip” to see all the lights and glamour. (B)

DAY 7 - SATURDAY, JULY 24 - Reno, NV - Enjoy a fantastic free day in exciting Reno! For those who would like, a group will make the one hour drive to Virginia City for some shopping. The motorcoach will depart the hotel at 10:00AM for Virginia City. We’ll return to the hotel by 3:00PM or so. Tonight we’ll have a special farewell dinner at 6:00PM at Romanza Ristorante located in the Peppermill Resort. (D)

DAY 8 - SUNDAY, JULY 25 - HOMEWARD - An early morning transfer to the Reno Airport today. Following check-out our motorcoach will drop us at the airport for the return flight homeward.
