DAY 1 – MONDAY, OCTOBER 11 – BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY – Our exciting tour begins today with an early morning departure from Jackson.

 As we travel today we will be making a lunch stop and appropriate  rest stops along the way. Our travels take us through the State of Alabama, and the Volunteer State of Tennessee. Continuing Northward we cross into the State of Kentucky where we have reservations for the evening in Bowling Green.  On arrival we check in and have time to freshen up before departing for our Welcome Dinner this evening.(D)

 

DAY 2 – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12 – AKRON, OHIO – This morning we enjoy breakfast before boarding our motorcoach for Akron and the Ohio Amish Country.  As we travel today we’ll make a stop for lunch. After lunch we continue on to Akron located in the rolling hills and farming area of Ohio.  We check in at the Quaker Square Inn which is an attraction in itself.  The hotel is built inside the old Quaker Oats Mill grain storage and you will actually be “sleeping in a silo”.  (B)

 

DAY 3 – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13 – BERLIN, OHIO – STATE COLLEGE, PENNSYLVANIA – We enjoy a full breakfast buffet this morning before we check out and make our way to Berlin where we will meet our step-on-guide who will introduce us to the Ohio Amish Country.  We’ll drive past farms, stop at a cheese factory for samples and tour picturesque villages that dot the countryside. After a full morning of sightseeing, we say good-bye to our guide. We make a stop for lunch on our own, and then continue on to State College where we have reservations for the evening.(B)

 

DAY 4 – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14 – LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA –  After breakfast we check out and board our motorcoach for Lancaster.  On arrival in Lancaster we will meet our step-on-guide for touring the beautiful and fascinating Pennsylvania Dutch  and Amish countryside. We travel through small communities around Lancaster as well as the farmlands owned by the Amish. We have a treat in store for lunch today. Our group will be guests at a family style lunch in an Amish Home. This afternoon we will visit an Amish Quilt and Craft Shop and make a stop at Kitchen Kettle Village. Our guide will leave us after our visit here. We will check in our hotel and have some relaxation time before departing for an entertaining evening and dinner at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.(B)(L)(D)

 

DAY 5 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 – HERSHEY, PENNSYLVANIA – ROANOKE, VIRGINIA -  This morning we enjoy our breakfast before checking out of our hotel. We are joined by our step-on-guide at the hotel. Today we have a tour of  the town of Hershey, We make a stop for a self guided tour of Hershey Gardens. After our garden tour we make a stop at Founders Hall. Departing Founders Hall we will visit Hershey Chocolate World. We will have lunch on our own here. After lunch we will depart for Roanoke where we have reservations for the evening.(B)

 

DAY 6 – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16 – WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA – CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA – We enjoy breakfast this morning before checking out of our hotel. Boarding our motorcoach we depart for Winston-Salem where we make a visit to Old Salem. You will have time to visit one or two of the Historic Museums that will give you a memorable historical experience about those who lived and worked in the early South.  There will be several choices here to have lunch on our own. We depart Old Salem after lunch and travel to Charlotte to visit the newly opened Billy Graham Museum.  After visiting the museum we board our motorcoach and depart for Greenville where we have reservations for the evening.  On arrival we check in our hotel before departing for our Farewell Dinner.(B)(D)

 

DAY 7 – HOME – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 – Before heading home today we will enjoy our breakfast and check out of our hotel. As we travel today we will make a lunch stop and appropriate rest stops along the way.(B)
