LOS ANGELES - “CITY OF ANGELS”

DAY 1 -
Morning Flight to Los Angeles, CA
- Arrive Los Angeles International Airport and meet our luxury
motor coach for transfer
- First on our agenda is a city tour with stops at the Santa Monica Pier,
Century City, home of the ABC Entertainment Center and the Avenue
of Stars. Drive through the campus of UCLA and fashionable Westwood
- Enjoy a stop at Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills
- Continue to Hollywood to see Grauman’s Chinese Theater (now called
Mann’s). Whenever a movie premiered here, the stars embedded their
hand and footprints in he courtyard in front of the theater. We will view
the signatures of our favorite celebrities imprinted in the cement and take
the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard
- Next door is the impressive Hollywood & Highland, a shopping and
entertainment complex housing the Kodak Theatre, new home to the
Academy Awards
- This evening we enjoy a welcome to Hollywood dinner at the famous
Hard Rock Café at the Beverly Center
- Continue to Anaheim this evening and check into our hotel

DAY 2 –
- Full American breakfast is included at the hotel
- Today will be memorable as we head to the “happiest place on earth”
and one of the world’s most popular attractions - DISNEYLAND
- Enjoy all the exiting adventures of the Magic Kingdom, Main Street
USA and Tomorrowland. Experience the newest attraction – The
Indiana Jones Adventure and Splash Mountain. The day is free to
explore the park – and this evening view the “Lion King Celebration”
parade and Fantasmic!, a spectacular show highlighed by lasers, high-
energy music, illusions and fireworks
- The all new Downtown Disney area features movie theaters, restaurants,
shopping - the House of Blues, the Rainforest Café, and ESPN-Zone

DAY 3 –
- Full American breakfast is included at the hotel
- Drive by the world famous “Hollywood” sign en route to Universal Studios
- We’ll go behind the scenes and experience the thrills of “lights, camera,
action” on a guided tour of the biggest movie production facility in the world.
Enjoy a tram ride to the back lot with its 500 exterior sets and
facades - witness a flash flood, an avalanche, and a terrifying
earthquake. See the shark from “JAWS”, the “Parting of the Red Sea”, and the
life-like “King Kong”. Special rides include Back to the Future and Jurassic
Park. See live action shows such as the Terminator, Water World, and
ride a bike with E.T.
- The evening will be spent at Universal’s City Walk - a sensational urban
village with retail shops and specialty restaurants, a six-story IMAX
Theater, multi-media rock ‘n’ roll bowling experience, and a virtual
reality NASCAR speedway
- Return to the hotel tonight

DAY 4 –
- Full American breakfast is included at the hotel
- This morning we travel south to San Diego – California’s oldest town
- En route we stop at La Jolla, a beautiful hideaway just north of San Diego
and then continue along the Pacific Coast Highway to Mission Bay, a
beautiful 4600 acre aquatic playground with miles of sandy beaches,
rolling parks, and shoreside resorts.
- Visit Balboa Park with its museums and the Old Globe Theater
- This afternoon enjoy exploring the world famous San Diego Zoo
- Before departing San Diego, we drive along the Embarcadero to see the
historic Gaslamp District illustrating life in downtown during the 1800’s
- We’ll have a dinner included this evening at the Old Spaghetti Factory
- Return to the hotel for our last night in L.A.

DAY 5 –
- Full American breakfast is included at the hotel
- Check out of the hotel and transfer to the Nixon Presidential Library
for sightseeing at this fascinating facility featuring films, displays,
exhibits, documents and other presentations about the 37th President
- Continue to Los Angeles International Airport for the return flight home
